Is there a way to display active ports in XP? Is there
also a text based way to show running services and then
kill them, ie: tlist, kill in nt4?
Thanks

netstat -ano displays active ports along with their
associated process ID.

tasklist /svc (XP Pro only) displays running services and
which process they're under, while net start displays all
running services.

Taskkill (XP Pro only) will kill running processes,
use "taskkill /?" for more information.
