Display Simplified Chinese Text I in E 6

My IE just can't display simplified Chinese text (GB2312).
Now my IE6 can display tranditional Chinese (BIG5) and the
Favorites in IE toolbar can display simplified Chinese
too.

How to get this problem fixed?

The Netscape 7.1 on my computer can display Chinese in
both GB abd BIG5. So I assume that system fonts are okay.

Should I complete remove IE6 and previous version and
configurations out of my computer and reinstall it?
