i don't seem to have the option for a 'display settings' in the taskbar
anywhere on my machine, so i thought i would make a link myself.

i have made a custom shortcut to the following location:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\desk.cpl

my questions are these:

what extra bit of command line do i need to add onto the above link in order
to open directly on the 'settings' tab instead of the 'themes' tab?

and

how can i make the icon appear in the task bar next to the clock?

if anybody could help that would be great, thanks!

...b..

easier.........
create shortcut to display
in control panel right click display and select create
shortcut to desktop
and drag and drop next to start button (launch bar area)
then single click to display.
