I have two user accounts in my PC, one is administrator and the other account
operator which is having different user rights set from the administror tool
--> local users. Rights are Users, Backupoperators,Power users, remote
desktop users

I can set my display settings to 1280 X 1024 in administrator account and it
keeps the settings the next time I log in.
But in operator account I change to 1280 X 1024 but after I log in after few
seconds the display changes back to 1600 X 1200. So each time I have to
change to 1280 X 1024 after I log in.
When I changed operator account to administrator the display settings was
kept to 1280 X 1024, the next time I logged in.

Any one knows what could be problem and how wil keep this settings 1280 X
1024 in my operator account ?

This sounds like a mandatory profile issue to me. When a user with an
assigned a mandatory profile logs off from a computer, any changes to the
profile are lost.
