recently had to re-install windows; when finished I ended up
with a very small display on my screen and have no idea how to
enlarge it to full display. Clicking the box at the top does not enlarge
anything to full screen. Help! am new at the pc.

You're "new at the PC" and you reinstalled Windows?

Use the buttons on the bottom of your monitor to expand the picture.

I , too, have a laptop and there are no buttons. I have since taken mine to
the shop and it is fixed. To answer the persons who responded to my post,
yes, I am a new user and re-installed micosoft following the instructions in
the manual. I have an unresolved problem with my printer and the manual
indicated I might need to re-install. Thank everyone, anyway.

I have a Dell laptop with XP on it. Every time the monitor lid gets closed
without shutting down, the visable screen image gets smaller by about 1/3.
How do I get it back to the normal size?
