display properties issue.

when trying to add a custom color to the display
properties (under the appearance tab, color, other)i am
not able to enter a 3 digit value in the HSL or RGB
settings, even tho 3 digits is allowed when you drag the
cursor thru the color pallett.

please help!! -- is there a setting that needs to be
changed in the registry somewhere??
