Windows has just restarted after an automatic update. Everything proceeds
normally from normal BIOS boot to the WIndows boot up screen. As soon as
Windows booting has completed, and the desktop is supposed to appear, the
problem occurs. The screen remains black. The cursor appears, and it can move
around, but nothing else seems to work. Starting in safe mode or the last
good configuration has no effect. The problem remains. Can anyone help me,
please?
