I was working on Word this morning, when suddenly the orientation of my
display rotated clockwise 90 degrees. I've tried rebooting--the welcome
screens are properly oriented, but as soon as Windows starts, everything is
rotated 90 degrees again. There has to be some way to undo what happened.
Please help with any suggestions!

CTRL+ALT+arrow keys
Doesn't seem to work on my laptop, but left or right rotate, and up is
supposed to reset to normal.

If that is not working, then look at the properties of your video card.
Some have the ability to adjust it. But since you say you did it by
accident, I'm assuming the keystrokes will work.

The ability to rotate the screen image is a feature of your video
card, to help it work with monitors that rotate to portrait
orientation. Almost certainly you accidentally pressed Ctrl-Alt, and
some arrow key. Rotate it back using those keys.

You can turn that nuisance of a feature off, too. Look somewhere in
Display Properties.
