Hi all,

When I type file:\\Image.extension
If extension = GIF,JPG,BMP, my IE6 will display the image without asking me
to download.
But,
If extension = PCX, my IE6 will confirm to save/open the file before using
Kodak Image Add-on to open.

How can I set IE6 so that it treat PCX like GIF/JPG/BMP?
I mean without asking my decision

Ben

Open Windows Explorer and go to Tools | Folder Options | File Types.
Scroll down to the PDX file type in question and select it.
Click Edit or Advanced, depending on your Windows version.
Uncheck the box for "Confirm open after download".

My Win2000 SP4 still keep asking Open/Save
I open IE6, drag Image.PCX into IE6 window. IE6 will ask me Open/Save
If I drag Image.GIF, IE6 will not ask me any question
