A strong suggestion to check your hardware compatablity
before doing the upgrade, there is a utility available on
the cd to check this.
It is on the Win 2k CD. With the CD in the CD drive go to
start - run - and
type D:\winnt32.exe /checkupgradeonly
also on the web at this site :
