Hi:
There are 3 PCs. and I installed Word 2000 on all, three.

Upon typing on each of three pcs., ... one pc. at a time, I
noticed there has characteristic difference among three.
Two PCs, XP and Vista respectively has identical, in
regard to 'Size of Letter' which is 'thick and bold-type,'
however one PC with XP has 'thin and non-bold' type,
even though I set '10'/Size along with 'New Roman' on
three PCs.

Is it because each PC. has different template that causing
this difference/issue?

If does, is there a way for me to set identical display
as to Font of '10pt' upon typing?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Might be because by installing the same program on three different PCs
you are - in effect - pirating the software on the second and the
third.

Nice move, Charlie.

Depends on how may licenses the OP has. He could be using volume licensing,
own multiple licenses, or whatever. Also, Office does allow two activations
on the same product key as long as one is on a desktop and one on a mobile,
with the understanding that both are not generally used at the same time.

Have you asked this in an Office newsgroup? This is probably not an OS
issue in that the resolution is likely in Office 2000 itself.

You are taking the "high road" view.

I am taking the other. I'll bet mine is right :-)

Thanks for the quick responses.

As to installation on three different PCs, there is NO issue, because in the
past
my friend who has exact CD, 2000 Word installed three different PCs like I
did.
Both she and I have been an exact same issue, ... explaining in my
previous/firt
post.

Any idea on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

It can be the printer you are using on each. The display in Word
depends on the printer driver used.
You might try a Word group.

Then, as Nonny says, you are out of compliance with the license. Both of
you. Just because it worked doesn't mean you are legal. Read the EULA for
the software.

My idea was that you should ask in an Office newsgroup. It is an Office
problem and as you can see from the title of this newsgroup this is an
operating system newsgroup, not Office.
