Every once in a while, my display fields in my Personal Folders change and I
have no idea why. I have the 'From' field displayed (and not the 'To' field)
in all my personal folders for all messages. Every once in a while, like this
morning, now some of my Personal Folders have the 'To' field showing and the
'From' field is gone. I made no changes. What is even odder, is its not all
Personal Folders. Some folders have changed, and others have not.

Two questions, does anyone know how to prevent this from happening, and how
do I get it to globally change back so I don't heve to go into every folder
and re-choose the 'From' field and delete the 'To field.

Have you accidentally switched to the "Sent To" view instead of the Messages
view?

So glad to see this post! I have the same problem with some folders.

I keep going to view-arrange by-custom to change the fields but the change
does not hold.

On another post, someone suggested using the field chooser from the Advanced
Toolbar but how to get that to work is a mystery. When I choose the field I
want, there does not appear to be a way to save that field.

I am using Outlook 2003.
