Is there anyway to display and sort by the senders email address in the Inbox
instead of just the dispay name?

Thanks for this - I have been trying to figure this out for about 3 years!!!
nothing more frustrating than seeing multiple versions of the sender's
address when trying to find an email - all sorting differently. Examples I
had "generified":

(E-Mail Removed)
John Doe
'John Doe'
John Doe<Acme Company>[(E-Mail Removed)]
John Smith[(E-Mail Removed)]

I guess differences down to senders Client eg I notice that if sender uses
webmail then the address usually has quote marks.

frustration solved

Someone knows if it is possible to have the group split (the small + box) in
this sender field, as it is in the other default fields?

Can you please ask this question in another way? I can't figure out what
you mean by this. To which "sender field" do you refer? Where are you
seeing it? What's a "group"?

I refer to the add-in mentioned at the top of this thread :
http://www.slipstick.com/exs/customfields.htm
when I load the customized field "sender e-mail address", Outlook looses the
split by groups behaviour. I mean the small + at the top of each group that
allows to expand or minimize each group.

Sorry for my english but I learn it 20 years ago at school :-)

OK. Since you didn't include any referent in your post (by quoting a
portion of the message to which you were replying) it was impossible to
tell.
