Using xp and at the moment, when I boot up, I will have to type in my name
or any of the user's name to log in. How can I get it to display all the
users' name upon bootup so that I dont have to type in the name (no password
protected for users). Thanks

Further info, when I boot in safe mode, my name May appears and hit enter and
it goes to desktop (no need password).

CP>User Ac>and see my name, May as Computer Administrator and there are no
other names such as guest etc. (My pc is used by myself and sister Jane and
would like to have Guest included)

When I click "change the way users log on/off", this message pop-up
"Client services for Netware has disabled the Welcome screen and Fast user
switching. To restore these features, you must uninstall Client services for
Netware"

Now how/where can I find this. Please advice, thanks

ok it appears that u have novell networks installed, which prevents u
from using the welcome screen and fast user switching. to use them u
must uninstall novell from your computer.

May I add, I have the Administrative Rights and log in and I pick the 'Guest'
account
and I dont see "Change the account type." which I am suppose to see/check

I only see ' change the picture' or 'Turn off the Guest Account'

Its the same thing if I log in under the Safe mode. or log in using
"ADministrator"

Am I missing something
here......................................................thanks

ok click on start and then run. then type in control userpasswords2 and
hit enter. select the guest account and select properties. then set the
account to an administrator account. i hope this helps, also the steps
may not be completely right after u get into the control userpasswords2
dialog box, because i dont actually have xp anymore so i cant check to
see if the steps are right. but i hope/think they are.
