All the same - all of them take your computer stuff and translate it to a
language your monitor can display. heh
At some point, there might have been a difference in markets or something.
Video Card, Graphics card, Video device, graphics device, display adaptor,
video adaptor...
If said in reference to a computer and the chipset/physical card/hardware
device that allows pictures to be put on a screen of some sort (visually) -
they are all the same.
Of course the 'adaptor' one could also just be a VGA to DVI (or vice-versa)
changer. hah
