You need to login as the administrator. Click start-log off. Type in
Administrator for your user name and your password. You can try this in
both acounts. Right Click My Computer and click Manage. Then go to
Local Users and Groups, then click on Users. If you are logged in as
Administrator you should be able to give Admin privilages to your other
account. If you still have problems, post a follow up.
Also, was it because you hadn't installed your display drivers that it
didn't show up?
