Have you looked at your login script to see what it maps?

Look into the "NO_DEFAULT" option (www.novell.com/documetation) as well.

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to let you know there is a site that may be of some use. A
lot of people who work with Novell products, and are VERY good with
implementations and troubleshooting, frequent the site. You can find it at:

Yes , I already add NO_DEFAULT option in login script and only map a
network disk.
BUT "login " network disk still auto maps.

perhaps look at other ways things are mapped, such as personal drive
mapping, or drive map object, etc. Mind if you post your login script here
for kicks & grins as well?

that is odd, that mapping must be coming from somewhere. What version of the
nwclient are you using, & what version of netware are you logging into?

Try the following:
Do not login into NW
- if there are Q.'s whether to reestablish a connection to
"\\your_netware_server\volume drive"

answer no and do not try to reconnect to other "maps".

Next time you connect try logging in again.

or just use the real nwclient. make sure to install it ipxonly because you
are dealing with 4.11

get it - download.novell.com

btw, how many users do you support with that 4.11 server?
