dismiss calendar control on click already-selected date

For the standard ASP.NET Calendar control ( I'm not referring to the AJAX
Control Toolkit ) :

I am finding that the popup does not dismiss on click of an already-selected
date.

Are others also finding this ? Any workaround ?
