I get a message in the Disk I/O section of bootvis that
reads: WARNING DISK WRITE CACHING IS DISABLED. The
problem is that a) prefeteching is enabled (for both boot-
up process and applications) and b) write caching is
enabled on drive C as I can see in Device Manager. The
result of all this is that my boot up time is
significantly longer that it used to be. By the way to
the best of my (and Norton's Antivirus) knowledge my
laptop is not infected. Any ideas would be greatly
appreciated.
