So are you saying you can see the files but they are unreadable? You might
need third party recovery software. Do a search for "recovery software" or
"data recovery software" etc. A popular title is Ontrack which has a demo
here
http://www.ontrack.com/freesoftware/ However the demo will not restore
your data but it will let you see what's there.
