Just today I placed a CD disk in my E drive and I can't get it out. Any
suggestions? Thanks.

Try rebooting and during the reboot and before it gets to Windows, try
opening it and removing the CD.

Look at the faceplate on the drive. Do you see a pin hole ?
If you have a paper clip, with the right wire diameter, and
you straighten the paper clip out, pushing the paper clip into
the pinhole, may open the door enough for you to extract the
media.

Sticking the straightened paper clip into the hole will release the tray's
locking mechanism so that it can be pulled out all the way. There is no need
to prise the CD through a half-open gap, thereby possibly damaging the arm
holding the lens.

Whenever your Disk gets stuck in Drive.

The first thing you should do is shift it into Neutral or Park to
avoid a serious or even fatal crash !!!!!
After doing that, apply the brakes and call 911 on your cellfone.

No this doesn't work because Gordon has reported that he became
paralyzed because of the delays in Ambulance visiting him! Don't
try ever try it again unless you are into some form of insurance
scam.
