You may have a problem with your hard drive or the cable that connects it to
the motherboard.
Open the computer and make sure that the hard drive is securely attached to
its data cable, and that the cable itself is firmly attached to the
motherboard.
Go to the technical support section of the web site of the manufacturer of
your hard disk, where you should be able to download their hard drive
diagnostic tests. Check your hard drives for problems, using these
diagnostic tests.
You should try to backup your important files.
