Your post is light on details. For instance, you forgot to tell us the name
of the current antivirus. Where does the password enter into this equation?
What do you mean you "need to reformat"? You don't need to do a clean
install of Windows to uninstall/install an antivirus! Is this a used
computer that was part of a domain?
