I had to replace my motherboard and needed to run setup
repair for the system to boot so I could change the
chipset drivers. Afterwards my slave disk shows up in disk
manager as dynamic offline. I'm not sure that it wa
dynamic before. I see the drive in CMOS correctly and in
device manager. I cannot reactivate the disk . I get an
error that says: no configuration copies available. I
searched the KBase and ound a document that said to
reinsatll the service pack. I reinstalled SP4 but same
thing happens. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Windows
2000, SP4, AMD 2400, drives are on primary IDE controller
Disk 0 is the master and Disk 1 is the slave. The slave
disk is the one with the problem. Thanks. This disk was
fine before the mobo change. I don't want to blow it away
and restore from backup.
Thanks in advance
