After attempting to download digital pictures via USB connect, I now
cannot get any of my three cd drives (cd/dvd rom, cd burner, dvd
burner) to read any cd disks. I get "disk not formatted" message. I
am able to burn a cd, but still cannot read any. Clearly something
"munged" when I tried to use the USB connect to camera, but, what? I
am running Windows 2000. Any ideas? Thanks.

Check Event Viewer and Device Manager for errors and or non-starting
devices.
