Hi, I installed Norton Internet Security about 10 days
ago, and about 3 days ago I started getting
the message: "Disk not formatted, do you wish to format
now?" I get this when trying to access the cd, cd-rw and
the flopy a:/. That's the only change I've
made in the past month, I'm thinking that maybe that's the
problem, but I really don't know.
I'm running Win2k pro - SP4

Thanks in advance for your help...

Remove it and see if the problem corrects itself.

Same thing's happening to me...only affecting a few
systems, but too many to call coincidence. I don't think
it's related to Symantec, but that's of course very
possible. Were you able to fix your problem by removing
it?

Seems like it would be possible, I ran in to a computer wich had the same
problem and uninstalling "Norton personal firewall" fixed this problem.
