I recently tried to save a file to my Hard Drive and got a
message that said "The disk you are saving to or the disk
used for temporary files is full." My Hard Drive isn't
even half full with about 30 Gig of free space. I got the
same message when I tried to save the file to a blank CD.

The message suggests that I free up some space and try
again. I assume that the part about temporary files is
where the problem is, but I don't know where these files
are (or why they are there) in order to delete them. I
can't live without being able to save files to my hard
drive. If it makes a difference the file I am saving is a
pdf file from the internet.

Any idea's? Thanks

Hi Peter

Your temp files are stored in C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local
Settings\Temp.
It is considered safe to delete everything in this folder. Do not delete the
Folder itself.

Go to Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools and do
Disk Cleanup.
