Yes (NAS), if the NAS supports it (check w/your OEM).
Depending on the usage patterns fragmentation can impact perf 5-->15%.
Since RAID5/NAS implies a large image size, I would recommend scheduling the
defrag to run during light usage (users can still be on the box, but perf
will be down during the job).
