Disk Drive Problem

Out of the blue, my E: drive (cd-burner) appears to be a
mirror copy of my C: drive (hard drive). It will not
recognize any type of disk, whether blank or full of
information. My disc detector shows a status of Eata CD.
My device manager shows that the device is working
properly and I have updated drivers. Also, when I try to
copy files to the drive, system shows that drive is in
use, however I am not using it.

My question is, how do I reconfigure that drive to being a
cd-burner and not a mirror copy of my hard drive?
