I had my computer upgraded 2 weeks ago. Before, everything was running fine.
Nothing wrong with it, just went a little slow. The upgrades I got for it
were a Pentium 4 3.2 ghz Processor and a new Mother Board. When I got it
back, my E Drive won't read data disks. It reads music just fine, but I
have disks that have word documents, Excel documents, and Videos, but when I
insert the disk, it reads as an empty disk. And like I said, when you insert
a music disk, it reads just fine. What can I do?

assuming we are thalking about CD or DVD drive:
what if you right click on the E drive, wha tdo you see on the Autoplay tab?

is it prompt me each time to shoose an action or no action for mixed
content.

I would think right now, it says play using windwos media play for Music
files and probably Take No action on mixed content

Yes, I am talking about the CD-RW Drive. Sorry I didn't make that clear.
When I click on the Autoplay tab it says its an "Empty CD" and the choices
are:
1: Open Writable CD Folder (If I choose that its empty)
2: Burn a CD
3: Take no action

Usually when I insert the CD it will bring up what is on the CD, now it
brings up an empty CD page.

For a blank CD you should either set it for your burning software or
select "Prompt me each time......".
Click the dropdown arrow on the right of the dropdown box and select "Mixed
content".
What is selected or showing below?
