Can you make Vista's defrag. show the window were you could watch it do its
thing like in Windows XP? Thanks

No, unless you use a thirdparty solution such as Disk Keeper. The new and
improved Defragmenter in Windows Vista runs in the background at all times.

Why would you want to watch Vista defragging your Sea Drive? Getting bored
playing Minesweeper?

Short answer is no. I like using Auslogics Disk Defragger: fast, free,
works great and yes - has the graphics you're seeking.

Get diskeeper or perfect disk to do better defrag in vista.
