For some reason, I cannot get disk defragmenter to work
in XP. When I open up the utility and click on 'analyze'
or 'defragment'. Nothing happens. Does anyone know how I
can fix this?

You should first run diskclean up utility before defrag,however to get it to
run,go to start,run,then type:cmd In cmd typeefrag C: When its thru,
install xp cd,exit the info page,then in cmd type:Sfc /Scannow When the
bar graph is thru,type:CHKDSK C: /F Agree to restart,then type:EXIT
Restart computer,remove xp cd.Also,run the cmd window in min.,sometimes
the graph runs behind it.
