Disk cloning / 'free space' for ewf

Hi,
I tried to copy my development harddisk to the target system disk with
'Norton Ghost'.
The source disk has the 'free space' partition for the ewf configuration and
the ewf is ok. The destination disk has no 'free space' anymore and the ewf
is not ok.
Do anybody know a produce to copy the harddisk with the 'free space'? How do
you clone your system?.
