Clone the drive, disconnect ide drive, reboot.
Once ok, shutdown, reconnect ide drive, having set bios boot order to sata.
It may work, however........
NB you should read your mobo manual for the specific instructions re using a
sata as the boot drive - it can vary and may involve both Bios settings,
mobo jumper, raid settings and/or using F6 during a win repair to install
sata/raid drivers from floppy.
