Disk Cleanup - Unable To Delete Restore Points

In Disk Cleanup under "Other Options" I am unable to delete all but the most
recent restore point.
I can delete all points by disabling SR, and then re-enabling it, but I
prefer using the recommended procedure.
Any suggestions? or am I missing something obvious.

You can change System Restore settings to allocate less disk space for
the restore files. You don't need to set aside 12% of your hard disk
space for these files, especially if you have a large C: drive. I've got
my 120 gb hard drive setting at 3% and I still have 28 restore points
showing, probably much more than I really need or can even use. I've
never gone back more than two or three restore points.

Thanks for your advice.
I'm still baffled why my notebook is unable to do what it's supposed to do!
I'll try 3%!
