When running Disk Cleanup, I have the "Microsoft Error Reporting Temporary
Files" box checked. However, after running the utility, 1 KB remains, and
cannot be removed. Is there a way to clean this file up?

I'm sure there is but, why are you worried about one file that's 1KB in
length?
