I'm using Win2000 Server with Small Office Server...I'm trying to improve performance by running Disk cleanup & defrag neither of which have been done since setup a year ago...both operations never seem to launch. They open and just sit there with no progress bar movement for hours. What should I do?

I was having the same problem, I went online and
downloaded disk keeper 8.0 free trial version. It works
great!

Are you able to analyze the drive or just not able to defragment? What size
drive is it? Can you boot into Safe Mode and try running from there?
