This error is rather perturbing, it doesn't slow
everything down, but it sometimes disables the dynamic
refresh while multitasking; leaving images of the previous
window on the newly activated window:

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: Disk
Event Category: None
Event ID: 34
Date: 1/12/2004
Time: 7:59:13 PM
User: N/A
Computer: 2KSERVER
Description:
The driver disabled the write cache on device
\Device\Harddisk0\DR0.
Data:
0000: 0f 00 04 00 01 00 62 00 ......b.
0008: 00 00 00 00 22 00 04 80 ...."..€
0010: 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........
0018: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........
0020: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........
0028: 00 00 00 00 ....

The only help that I can find concerning this issue is to
contact Microsoft to obtain Dskcache.exe. I don't believe
that this will help because I can turn that functionality
on and off with a script. Also it doesn't address the
issue that is causing the error in the first place.

Let me know what I can do, and if I am posting in the
wrong area or not.

THank you sincerely,
Jeffrey LaPointe
