I get this after trying to do an install with Win2k Pro. It doesn't seem to see the files that it just
installed to the hard drive when doing the first reboot. My CMOS settings are correct - in that I have it
boot from the CD initially then when it reboots I change the settings to boot from C only. I remove the
CD as well. I've used multiple hard drives. Motherboard is an older Asus P2B. Never had a problem with
it before - have done several installs over the years with Win2k Pro. I am using a SCSI hard drive now
with Win2k but I'm trying to load the newest install on to an IDE. I removed the SCSI card and hard
drive prior to this install in case that might have confused the OS.

Are you deleting all partition info, then restarting setup prior to creating
the partition?

I think so. As soon as it deletes the partition (control L I think) and it is about to copy files I hit
the Reset button and the install starts anew. Is that what you mean?

I think it is F3 to abort. Hitting the reset isn't a good idea. But yes
that's it.
