Discussion Thread - can't see post html outside of FrontPage

I have created a discussion group; works nicely. My team lead wanted to be
able to edit his post and tried to open in Ultra Edit - couldn't see body of
text. We opened in FrontPage and went to HTML and it was visable. Why could
we not see this in Ultra Edit?

Ultra Edit is not FP. FP is required to edit a post in the FP discussion
group.
