Discussion group mystery

I have a discussion group that has been working fine for two years.
It's set up in frames, in its own subweb.

Yesterday, with no explanation and without its being touched by me,
the message list stopped appearing. When viewing it with a browser,
in the frame where you'd normally see the message index, you now see

CONTENTS
CONTENTS
[_bedstuy/_bedstuy/tocproto.htm]

When I look at this pages with FrontPage, the messages are all there,
everything seems fine. With a browser, no go. I have several other
similar discussion groups on my site and all of them work fine.

Can anyone suggest how I might troubleshoot this?

Thanks in advance,
Isidore

Assuming that you didn't do any publishing or uploading, ask your host what
their server logs show.
