There is a known issue with discussion groups created in FrontPage (I use FP
2003). It is: when a user posts a message to the group, it will often post
twice. And no, the submit button is being pressed only once.

Anyone know what causes this, or have a fix?

This is caused by the poster clicking twice on the submit button
sometimes accidentally, sometimes purposefully because they feel it
takes too long to submit.
You can minimize this by displaying a text like this:
"Please only click once, it may take a little while for the form to
submit", next to the submit button.

In this case, the duplicate postings occur even when the poster is
definitely not pressing the "Post" button twice. I myself have tested this
by posting a test message. In searching through the web and newsgroups,
this seems to be a known problem resulting from a bug in the program.

If anyone has any thoughts on this, I'd appreciate learning them
