Dear All,

I have created a frontpage discussion forum within my existing website. On
posting some test articles I discovered that a dynamic html page is created
for each thread.

I would kike to know how I can manage the post article and threads when I
decide the topic has been debated enough and want to remove them.

I noticed the dynamic html pages appear to get stored into the _disc folder
but I cannot view this on my remote web-server.

Is this a setting I need to change? If so any advice where? By doing this
will it allow access to those hidden html pages?

Be grateful for any advice please.

Matt

The pages are not dynamic - they are static .htm pages, and a new page
is created for each post - not just for each thread.
To view the pages - Tools->Web Settings - Advanced tag.
Tick the box "Show hidden files and folders"

When using the FrontPage Discussion Web, how a discussion develops
cannot be controlled. The only way to stop a thread is to close the
entire discussion web. The content on the pages can be removed, but not
the pages themselves, nor their entries on the table of contents -
removing the pages can easily corrupt the entire discussion web.

Make sure you have _hidden folder turned in Tools Site Settings Advanced
- Do not delete posts - just edit them or you will destroy the DW links
