using xp, i.e.6.0, dell computer, 6 weeks old.
i recently noticed a button called "discussion" on the standard toolbar in
i.e. i only noticed it after i sustained spyware. i'm not sure if it was
there before. i'm just checking to see if this a normal feature of xp's i.e.
6.0, or is it something installed by the spyware. i do not have it on my
win98se, also using i.e.6.0. any input greatly appreciated.

thank you, len kiesling

It's a normal feature. With some other support, it allows people to
comment on an intranet-based server. I don't see how it would be
useful for home use, but there you are...

Hi,
That was put there by MS Office.
See: Using the Discussion Feature in Internet Explorer
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=255085 Or, in Office Help, look for
discussion. Feel free to remove it.
