We have several laptops running XP Pro SP2 that are members of a 2003 AD
Domain. They connect to file shares and network printers on a Windows 2003
DC and, for the majority of time, function correctly. Now and again they
lose their connectivity to the file server and cannot access shares or
printers. However if "Offline Files" is disabled the shares and printers
become available again. They need Offline Files enabled due to the nature of
their work.
I do not think this is a server problem as it can affect individual people
at any particular time, the rest of the users work fine.
Any help or pointers in the right direction will be much appreciated.
