Disappearing network drives in Windows XP

Network shares are being mapped through Net Use command
via login script and GPO. Windows XP on HP workstation.

Mapped network drives are disappearing from Windows
Explorer. I can access the drives from the command
prompt, and they also show up in the Map Network Drive
drop-down list. However, the drive is not visible in
Windows Explorer. This is happening intermittently and on
random workstations. I can reconnect the drive manually.

Any suggestions would be immensely appreciated!

Cheers,
Jonathan
