Hey sometimes late it's late at night and when i'm going
to bed for the night, i let my computer go so i can
download songs throughout the night ( i have a dial up
modem) but in the morning i find that the downloads are
gone and no where to be found........I have noticed
however that whenever my screensaver comes on even if
it's just for a minute, my downloads disappear. I just
think it's weird, ever happen to anyone? Does this make
sense?

So what happens if you set your screensaver to wait 900 minutes? Start, Control Panel, Display, Screensaver.

if files go missing its likely to be the trash.exe virus
which does just that. You will need to uninstall XP and
reinstall it ensuring you use antivirus and a firewall
before going online. Try spybot too as if you do a lot of
P2P sharing you may pick up lots of spyware which just
sucks your hard drive dry!
