I recently added some new software to my computer and
when it finished installing, all of my icons that were
shortcuts and my quicklaunch icons disappeared. I tried
the show icons option on the desktop menu (arrange
icons), but nothing happened. When I started to replace
my shortcuts, I got messages that asked me if I wanted to
replace files that already existed. I checked in My
Computer in the Desktop folder and all the icons appear
there, but just don't actually show up on the desktop.
I'm assuming the icons are still there, but I can't
figure out how to make them reappear. Thanks for any help
you can give,
