Disappearing Auto Text Quick Parts

I keep on defining in OE 2007 blocks of text as Quick Parts and then saving
it to the Auto Text gallery but they disappear after I restart OE. This
doesn't happen in Word and not everything disappears as there are a couple of
Auto Texts that remain. But where are all the others going and how do I save
so that it remains permanent?
