incoming mail is being received correctly and delivered
to the client PC correctly via server(s), however, it
seems that some (not all) incoming mail is vanishing. I
have removed all the users rules, checked all of the
user's folders and am unable to locate where this mail is
going! Also, the "in" box will show 6 new messages and
only 4 envelopes are seen. Has anyone come across this
type of problem?

Is your view set correctly? Are you sorting by the correct header column?
